- Campaign Manager
Description
The Campaign Manager will lead day-to-day execution of the campaign plan for a Houston City Council race, translating strategy into measurable programs across field, fundraising support, communications, and operations. The ideal employee is ambitious, disciplined, and highly organized.
- Execute a comprehensive campaign plan with clear goals, benchmarks, and metrics tracked and reported on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Oversee campaign operations including calendars and scheduling, staffing the candidate, managing events, and ensuring the campaign runs smoothly day to day.
- Develop and execute the field plan, including managing field staff and volunteers.
- Perform administrative duties such as; scheduling, staffing the candidate, capturing content and driving the candidate.
Other duties as assigned by the general consultant or candidate.
Requirements
- At least one cycle of campaign experience managing field, operations, and/or overall campaign execution is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, tact, and diplomacy.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to work long and unpredictable hours, especially including evenings and weekends.
- Must be located in Houston or have the ability to relocate to the area.
- Must have a car and valid driver’s license.
