As Petmate's Inside Sales Manager, you will drive inside sales performance by managing processes, optimizing tools, and executing sales strategies. You'll support revenue growth through pipeline development and close collaboration with field sales and customer service teams.
This role requires initiative, independence, and a strong focus on execution and follow-through. Excellent communication and customer relationship skills are essential.
This role is based in our Arlington, TX corporate office.
Hybrid work model - 4 days onsite; 1 day remote
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Own and execute the full inside sales cycle from lead qualifications and prospecting to negotiation and closing deals.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers to drive retention, satisfaction, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaborate on the development and execution of promotional campaigns and channel strategies that drive growth.
- Partner with the Channel Marketing Team, Product Team and Operations Teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Leverage B2B platform to maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and sales acceleration activities.
- Develop and maintain deep product knowledge to effectively position tailored solutions for retail partners.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and forecasts to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Leverage POS, shipment, syndicated, and loyalty data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and tell data-driven stories.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to refine positioning and sales strategies.
QUALIFICIATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- 3+ years of inside sales experience demonstrating success in managing business partners
- Reliable and collaborative team player.
- Ability to work independently in varied settings.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Problem solving mindset
- Basic/Intermediate knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
