*MANAGER COMMUNITY AFFAIRS* The Manager of Community Affairs is responsible for building trusted community relationships, advancing community health priorities, and strengthening our community impact across the system. The role oversees outreach, partnerships, events, and strategic projects that position Baylor Scott & White Health to empower communities to live well beyond the doors of our facilities. The manager also oversees daily operations, strategy execution, and alignment with the systemwide Community Investment strategy. *WORK ENVIRONMENT* It's a hybrid role, so most days are working from your own environment or office. There will be expectations to travel across DFW regularly for events, initiatives and relationship building. Occasionally will need to travel to Central Texas for team meetings and commitments. Evening community events will be required occasionally. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE* * Leads the implementation of programs and strategic priorities that support the BSW Systemwide Community Investment Strategy. * Builds and maintains trusted relationships with BSW facility leadership, community organizations, civic leaders, school districts, and other key partners. * Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external audiences. * Oversees outreach activities, partnerships, events, sponsorship activations, and strategic projects that strengthen BSWH's community impact. * Serves as a connector across BSWH by linking internal stakeholders with appropriate community partners, resources, and opportunities. * Guides the team in assessing partner alignment, engagement value, and strategic fit with community health priorities. * Ensures documentation, reporting, and data‑tracking processes meet team needs and support effective community engagement. * Prepares clear, executive‑ready presentations and materials that communicate Community Affairs priorities and impact through strong written communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. * Applies strong relationship‑building skills to represent BSWH effectively in community and internal settings. *KEY SUCCESS FACTORS* * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver clear, compelling presentations for internal and external audiences. * Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams and partners. * Demonstrates robust organizational and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, drive execution, and advance priorities through effective planning and follow‑through. * Effective problem‑solving skills to navigate evolving community needs and priorities. * Brings a strong understanding of the local community and a strong commitment to empowering communities to live well. * Non-profit experience preferred * Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment while balancing many competing priorities *BENEFITS* Our competitive benefits package includes the following: * Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits * 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5% * Tuition Reimbursement * PTO accrual beginning Day 1 Note: Benefits may vary based upon position type and/or level *QUALIFICATIONS* * EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification * EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience * Hybrid expectation- on-site several days a week, traveling as needed
