Description

The Project Manager is responsible for establishing, coordinating and completing projects for the organization. This position will involve creating and monitoring deadlines and budgets, as well as delegating tasks for the project to team members to ensure completion and accuracy. This individual will work with original equipment manufacturers (OEM), working with cross-functional teams and leading Flour/Mix Packaging integration and equipment operation efforts, to drive the industry with advanced package solutions, new material developments, and overall equipment effectiveness at all our facilities. Lead innovation for internal products/processes and external customers. Support and improve the existing manufacturing processes of company products. Support new sales, new installations, and existing client implementations of company products.

PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, direct, and coordinate long-term and short-term project guidelines, timelines, and resources.

Assemble project teams that will be best suited to help facilitate and complete the project.

Delegate tasks to the project team members to be completed, with a deadline/timeline provided.

Oversee project team members and monitor the status of each part of the project and provide guidance/direction.

Advise the executive/leadership team of any delays, issues, or discrepancies that may impact the project.

Keep metrics and tracking of progress up to date to ensure timeliness and efficiency.

Provide the executive/leadership team with accurate and timely reports on project statuses.

Lead the implementation of completed projects.

Become familiar with all facets of the business to evaluate future project needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Management, or a related discipline preferred, or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing/industrial/milling environment preferred.

Strong leadership, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills are a must.

Ability to delegate effectively.

Decisive decision-making skills.

Ability to track and provide regular reports on progress.

Milling, agriculture, or similar project experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

This position will require some physical efforts such as pulling and lifting.

Travel to company locations within the U.S. as needed.

Repetitive actions such as typing, answering phones, etc.

Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time.
