Job Title: Sleep Technologist (RPSGT / Sleep Tech)

Location: Overland Park, KS
Schedule: Full Time (36-40 hours/week); open to part time positions as well 

REMedy Sleep Medicine is looking for a Full-Time Sleep Technologist to join our busy practice! REMedy is a privately, physician owned practice which allows us to focus on providing quality care to our patients and staff. Our mission is to guide patients through the consultation, diagnosis, and treatment process. We believe our experience combined with our investment in our patient’s care is what sets us apart.  

This role is responsible for conducting overnight sleep studies, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and collecting high-quality data to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

Responsibilities Include:

Perform overnight polysomnography (PSG) studies in accordance with AASM standards
Prepare patients for sleep studies, including sensor placement and equipment calibration
Monitor patients throughout the study and respond appropriately to events or emergencies
Document study data accurately and maintain clear, detailed documentation
Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues during studies
Follow HIPAA policies to maintain the privacy and security of patient information.
Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before and during studies
Qualifications

RPSGT credential required
Certificate or associate of an accredited sleep technology program or equivalent experience
Maintain Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently overnight
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Comfortable working night shifts
Preferred Experience

Experience with adult sleep studies
Pediatric Sleep Study experience is a plus!
Familiarity with CPAP/BiPAP titration studies
Experience using electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
